Kerry Briggs Business Biography

President
Briggs Financial Services is a specialty lines insurance agency serving the bank, credit union, auto, and motorcycle marketplace.  The company creates partnerships and is responsible for product and company selection, platform training, profitability and loss analysis, and account management.  Kerry Briggs has 26 years of experience in the industry.

1987-1989
Pima Insurance Agency, President
Responsible for the programs and personnel of this subsidiary service corporation for Pima Savings & Loan.  Pima Savings was the fourth largest savings institution in Arizona with 3.2B in assets and 40 branch offices.  As President he created, implemented, and managed insurance and securities programs for the Bank.  Total agency sales over $50M.  Pima Insurance Agency had 125 licensed agents, contracted with 14 life companies and 11 property and casualty companies. 

1985-1987
American Bankers Insurance Group, Regional Sales Executive
Managed seven state region of large bank accounts with $15M in insurance premiums.  Products included credit related life and health, property and casualty. 

Education
Kerry earned his B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Utah in 1971. Kerry and his three children have been residing in Arizona since 1980. Kerry also graduated from the Air War College Associate Program in 1995.

Personal
Kerry loves the Finance & Insurance business, creating profit centers with high quality products from partnering insurance companies that enjoy unquestioned stability in the marketplace.  His top priority is always to be a valuable team member and exceed client program expectations.  Brandon Briggs and Lisa Briggs serve in many valuable roles within the company. 

Kerry enjoys playing golf on weekends and some snow skiing in the winter. As much quality family time as possible, especially with his six year old granddaughter.

Briggs Financial Services is a specialty lines insurance agency serving the bank, credit union, auto, and motorcycle marketplace.  The company creates partnerships and is responsible for product and company selection, platform training, profitability and loss analysis, and account management.  The agency serves new car franchise dealers, independent auto dealers, and credit unions in Arizona.  Brandon has 17 years of experience in sales, marketing, and account management.

Education
Brandon earned his B.A. degree in English from Northern Arizona University in 1995.  Member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and held offices within the Zeta Omicron chapter.

Brandon’s job involves the sales, marketing, and account management of numerous finance and insurance products in a variety of institutions. Briggs Financial Services is a specialty lines insurance agency serving the bank, credit union, auto, and motorcycle marketplace.  Our agency creates partnerships and is responsible for product and company selection, platform training, profitability and loss analysis, and account management.  I have 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and account management.

1991-1993
Herman’s Sporting Goods (part-time)
This was a fun job where I learned the sales process, features and benefits of products, and how to be a team player.  I was responsible for direct sales, customer service, and cashier duties.  Enjoyed the employee discount for running shoes and ski clothes.

1991-1995 Lifeguard (summers)
City of Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)
I was responsible for lifesaving skills, swimming lessons, pool safety, swimming pool management.  Loved this one too – great co-workers, fun kids, summer tan.

Education
I earned my B.A. degree in Communication from Arizona State University in 1996 – 3.7 GPA.  I enjoyed competing in cross country and track and was on the ASU water-ski team.

Skills Summary
Managing and servicing a nationwide account is a huge part of my job, including interfacing at the customer, dealer, and administrator level.  I have cultivated excellent interpersonal and listening skills and I am adept at handling customer objections and finding resolution to issues.  I am detailed, sales oriented, self-motivated, and goal driven.
